    We are the sole owners of the information collected on this site. We only have access to/collect information that you voluntarily give us via email or other direct contact from you. We will not sell or rent this information to anyone.

    We will use your information to respond to you, regarding the reason you contacted us. We will not share your information with any third party outside of our organization, other than as necessary to fulfill your request, e.g. to ship an order.

    Unless you ask us not to, we may contact you via email in the future to tell you about specials, new products or services, or changes to this privacy policy.

    While we use encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, billing or customer service) are granted access to personally identifiable information. The computers/servers in which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.

    What is a layaway?
    A layaway is a method that allows you to place an item on hold/storage at our store to purchase it within sixty (60) days.

    How does a layaway work?
    If you would like to place an item on layaway, a 25% deposit of the total purchase price must be placed on the item. Sixty days from the date that the layaway was created you must pay in full the remaining balance that is due to pick-up the item.

    Here is an example:

    The layaway total purchase price is $100.00
    Deposit price of 25% is -$25.00
    Remaining balance to be paid in 60 days is $75.00


    Is interest applied to the remaining balance of the layaway?
    No, interest is not applied to the remaining balance of your layaway.

    The advantage of a layaway.
    A layaway allows you to purchase an item and pay without using your credit card or a large sum of cash at one time. It allows you to pay with smaller, more affordable amounts, allowing you to stay within your budget. This can be a great advantage to you for the holiday season.

    Can a special ordered item be placed on a layaway?
    Yes, you can special order an item and place it on layaway. You will still need to place the 25% deposit to begin the layaway.

    If you change your mind and cancel your layaway...
    If you change your mind about placing an item on layaway and cancel it, your deposit will be refunded as in store credit.

    If your layaway is not paid in full in 60 days…
    If the layaway is not paid in full by the end of the 60 day period, the item is returned to general store inventory and all payments made within that 60 day period including your deposit are forfeited and not returned to you.

    If your layaway is a special ordered item and is not paid in full in 60 days…
    If the layaway is for a special ordered item and it is not paid in full by the end of the 60 day period, the item is returned to the distributor and all payments made within that 60 day period including your deposit are forfeited and not returned to you.

    How to pay for a layaway…
    Layaways can be created and paid with credit card, debit card, check, and  cash.
    When you make a payment on your layaway you must bring your original layaway receipt and any additional payment receipts that you have received. This will help us locate your layaway and apply the payment correctly.

    Can’t stop in the store? No problem; you can pay by phone.
    If you cannot physically stop in our store to pay on your layaway, you can call us by phone at 210-523-2263 and make a payment using your credit or debit card over the phone. When making a payment by phone, please give us the layaway number that appears on the original layaway receipt. If you want to make your final payment over the phone we can ship it to your location for an addition charge of $20.

    Internet and email payments…
    Sorry, layaway payments cannot be made through our web site or through our email.



  • Shipping & Delivery
  • Shipping will take place as soon as it is in stock. Processing starts as soon as order is placed. Items may take a little longer than normal based in availablility and season, in reference to band season. Typical shipping can take 1-35 days. Delivery can also be affected by location of shippment.



  • Sales Tax
  • All sales will include our local sales tax of San Antonio, Texas. The current Tax rate is 8.25%



  • Warranties
  • Instruments sold will carry the manufactures warranty. Instrument warranties vary from a one year to lifetime warranties. If you are interested in a lifetime warrantied instrument, please call and find out more.



  • Return Policy
  • 100% Satisfaction Guaranteed!


    As part of our commitment to customer service, Bandstar Music offers an exchange guarantee. If you are dissatisfied in any way, with a purchase from our website, you may return the item(s) for an exchange within 30 days of purchase. All items must be returned in it's original condition. Your receipt, manual, and all original packaging are required for an exchange. Please be advised that prior authorization is required on all returns. Any returns sent to us without a return authorization cannot be accepted. If returning an item(s), you must include all parts and pieces to be eligible for a refund. Also, to ensure that your returns are received, please make sure to add insurance to your parcels through a preferred mail delivery service.

    Non-Returnable Items

    • Copy-protected material such as sheet music, videos, software, sample libraries
    • Recording media and computers: cassettes, reels, DAT tapes, minidiscs, CDRs
    • Drumheads, drumsticks, cleaning and care products, rosin, tubes, strings
    • Reeds, harmonicas, pitch pipes, earplugs and other in-ear monitors
    • Clothing and body jewelry

    *All Original Packaging includes: cables, power adapters, manuals, blank warranty cards, etc..., as well as the actual packaging

     

    Restocking Fees
    All returned itmes will be inspected and any deemed in a condition less than described will be assessed a 15% restocking fee. Order shipments that are refused are subject to a 15% restocking fee.

    How Refunds are Processed
    Charges made to a credit card will be refunded, less freight, handling and any reconditioning charges, to the same credit card. Payments made by check will be refunded with a check, after sufficient time has passed for your original check to completely clear through the banking system.

    Prices and Specifications are Subject to Change
    Bandstar Music always strives for accuracy in the information and pricing we present. However, we are not responsible for typographical errors, incorrect specifications furnished by manufacturers, or for price changes. Prices are subject to change without notice.

  • Our Mission is to help find what you are looking for. With that said, we strive to be there for you in your effort to find the instrument for your child or for yourself. This is why we try to make ourselves available by appointment until 10:00pm.  Both Locations Are Always Open By Appointment.

    Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday- 10:30am-6:00pm

    Wednesday and Friday- 10:30-5:00pm

    Saturday: 10:30am-2:30pm

    Sunday: Only opened by appointment between 2:00pm-4:00pm (Please call before to make an appointment)
